I heart pancakes!

You’ll love these pancakes and your heart will too! They are wheat & sugar free and baked on soy margarine! A wonderful and healthy breakfast to serve to your loved ones!



2 cups whole spelt flour
1 egg
1/2  teaspoon baking powder
Tagatose sweetener
1 cup milk or soy milk (e.g. Apro Soya Nature or Vanilla)
Soy margarine to bake
Heart-shaped metal pancakes mold (or heart-shaped frying pan)
1 cup of blackberries


In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder and 2 tablespoons of tagatose. Add milk and egg and mix until the batter gets smooth. On a pan, heat soy margarine over medium heat. Place the pancake mold on the pan and pour batter into it. Bake until the bottom is golden. Remove the mold, turn and bake the other side until golden too. Decorate with tagatose and blackberries.
