I went to Australia and I brought back…

A lot of props. And I mean A LOT. I just started unpacking and I realized that most of my luggage consists of cutlery, plates, bottles, old license plates, stamps and much much more. What you see below is the first selection. I have not even bought a single piece of clothing (which, trust me, is extremely rare for me) but I was so worried I will not be able to take all the wonderful things I found that I didn’t dare to buy a pair of socks! The truth is, I will need all those props. I will. I promise. Soon I can tell you why.

If you want to hear all about my Aussie adventures, stay tuned for the next issue of Luscious! Back to unpacking, I have a lot of work to do…

I want to know why!! I’m imagining something, that would be fantastic, but I don’t dare mention it!!

    Un beso!!!

I’ve only just come across your blog and Luscious courtesy of a cursory click-through on Foodgawker (think it was there) and love what you’re creating. I am sooo envious of those props! I too can imagine what’s come your way to need all of them; your work is wonderful and inspiring so more than just people like me beaming in will have come across it and be keen to see it get out and about there even further afield. I have to mostly make do with the flea market or two I have here in Malta (some weird things do come to light at them though!) and like you, I pack, when my son’s gifts allow, all manner of finds from the UK when I pop back there. But those darn cheap flights airlines don’t make life easy for the prop hunter! Back to scour over Luscious fall, and looking forward to the next issue. Keep it up!

@Paula hihi you will be the first one to know ;)

@Liz thank you so much for all the sweet words dear! Oh, how I hate luggage limitation – there should be a special limitation for food bloggers, don’t you think ;) Belgium is not easy at all for props, at least not the type of props I love, so I have to look outside! We’re lucky here that we can take a train to London and not worry about the planes (and even then my luggage is usually too small to fit it all!) Stay in touch!!

@Sabrina bedankt sweety! Ik heb helaas geen plaats in de keuken meer ;) ben nu wel bezig met een ‘project room’!
