The weather is just perfect for a picnic so if you’re planning one and still looking for a delicious, summery dessert, try the peach & blueberry crumble in a jar. They are not only simple to make but also really easy to take along!
Preheat the oven to 150C. Wash the peaches, cut in half and stone them. Cut them in small cubes. Put the peaches in a bowl and add the blueberries and 30g cane sugar. Divide the fruit between 4 glass jars.
Put the flour and remaining sugar in a mixing bowl and rub in the cold, diced butter between thumb and fingers till it resembles crumbles. Tip the topping over the fruit in each jar and bake for 30 minutes or till the crumble topping has darkened to a pale gold. Let cool off for 10minutes, close the jars and off you go! It’s picnic time!
