Brownie Tartelettes

Last Saturday, I had two lovely ladies (@bizz_y_bee & @JoannaBee) over for cake & coffee and since I just bought some tartelette tins recently, I really wanted to try them out! I know the girls love their chocolate, so the choice fell on brownie tartelettes!

Ingredients
200g pure chocolate
100g self raising flour
100g butter
180g sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence

Method
Heat oven to 180C. Grease the tartelette tins with baking spray or butter.

Put chocolate and butter in a small pan, place it over a bigger pan of simmering water (au bain marie) and allow to melt. Remove the pan from the heat when the mixture is smooth and lump-free. Let cool off for 5min.

In another bowl, break eggs and whisk with the fork. Add flour, sugar, vanilla essence and the chocolate mixture and mix thoroughly. Divide the batter between 6 tartelette tins. Place the tartelettes in the middle of the oven and bake for 25-30 min. Serve alone or with ice cream. Or fruit and cream. Or anything you like with brownies, it’s good anyhow!
